What we collect

When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, details of your property and project, your preferred start month and budget, whether the property is for sale, how you heard about us and any photos you upload. If you accept cookies, we also record which advert, search or website brought you to the site, so we know which advertising works.

When you call, email or message us we keep the conversation and the details you give us.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

To reply to your request, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

To carry out and guarantee the work if you become a customer — performance of a contract.

To keep accounting records — legal obligation.

To measure how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies — consent.

Who we share it with

Google (Google Workspace: email, Sheets, Drive) stores enquiries and photos for us as a processor. Cloudflare hosts the website and protects the form from spam. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: 12 months. Customer records: 6 years after the end of the job, for tax and guarantee purposes. Photos you upload: deleted with the enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@deplandscapes.co.uk. We reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

International transfers

Some of our processors may store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
